Happy Friday! I have another week to go before I start my new job and so I have been really nesting this week, making our flat feel like home and cooking up some great recipes to keep in the freezer for quick week night dinners. With the weather starting to drop down I am feeling the need to be cozy and cuddled with a cup of tea. Here are my picks for a lazy Saturday.
1. Simple stud earrings
2. Dainty Girl x Eluxe Sweater, perfect for dozing off
3. The most comfortable tights
4. A beautiful mug to be filled with your favourite tea
5. Comfy socks to stay warm
And you, what’s your go-to cozy outfit? I’d love to know!
I just love games. I grew up playing board games with the family so any opportunity to play brings back awesome memories… and my competitive side. Recently I have noticed more and more beautiful games popping up everywhere. I love when home decor items are fashionable and functional. So here are my picks for the best golden games!
What do you think of games as home accessories? I hope this is one trend that is here to stay!
I have a slight obsession with instagram. Honestly I was slow to pick it up (favouring twitter instead), but instagram has now become a major source of inspiration, a place for online shopping, and a way to catch up with friends and family. I’m working on a series to share my favourite instagram accounts, from fashion + lifestyle bloggers, to brands, and DIY, so here is the first in the series. By sharing just five accounts I know I am missing some great ones- so let me know your favs in the comments.
1. Cupcakes and Cashmere (@emilyschuman)
I have been reading cupcakes and cashmere for about five years now and watched the blog grow into a huge success. I like to follow Emily’s instragram because it shows a behind the scenes look at C&C and shares beautiful photos that never make it to the blog.
2. Sincerely Jules (@sincerelyjules)
It seems as if Julie is always traveling and she brings her effortless chic style to some of the coolest cities in the world. It’s the perfect account for both travel and clothes envy!
3. The Coveteur (@thecoveteur)
This account gives a peak into the closets you’ve been dying to check out plus inspiration for all things fashion, food and beauty. With 450,000+ followers they really deliver!
4. Man Repeller (@manrepeller)
Leandra, Amelia and the rest of the team at Man Repeller are hilarious. I must admit I read the book before the blog and I am now addicted. I love this account because you really never can predict what these ladies will post next.
5. Olivia Palermo (@therealoliviap)
I don’t follow Olivia’s blog but I do like to see her in my instragram feed for dream outfits that are way outside my budget, and high quality images.
Oh- and me? You can follow me @aleyestok! Do you have an instagram account? Let me know in the comments and I’d love to check it out!
