Snapshots of Bruges // The Sights

To continue on the Belgium theme of the last few days, we visited the city of Bruges. We were very much looking to our time there although when we arrived we found it very touristy. I know, I know- we’re tourists, but even so all of the stores felt over the top and there didn’t seem to be any local people in the areas we visited. That being said, the architecture in Bruges is truly incredible and was mostly built in Bruges’ golden age from the 12th to 15th century when there were a major port specializing in exporting textiles.

Anyway- here are some of the highlights. Hope it sparks some wanderlust and encourages you to book your next trip!
